About Kids Classes

Our kids classes are designed for kids to practice kitchen skills, learn about kitchen equipment, and includes food and personal safety. The kid friendly recipes are chosen so that the kids can do them themselves once they get home. They get to eat or take home their own creations. Fostering independence is a main goal, as is having fun.

Our menus emphasize fresh ingredients, locally grown when possible.  We serve fresh fruit plus milk or water with all menus.  Nutrition education is a major component of our curriculums and our curriculums are tracked to health and wellness frameworks

Kids cooking classes and camps will continue when the barn opens back up in the spring (2015)

Submit the form below for updates on future classes.

Kids cooking classes are both educational and fun.  Join us for a one-time class, or our full kids camp. Students will learn kitchen safety and practice knife skills through hands-on cooking.
